You have either worked in the ‘Flooring’ industry before, or you have a strong interest in it. You have either decided that this is your trade, or you are strongly considering finding your place in this industry.

You pay close attention to detail and it bothers you when tasks aren’t done with excellence.
You own your role in a company. When you run into problems, you either solve them or think through possible solutions to suggest before calling for help.
When your supervisor points out flaws in your work, you take it seriously because you take pride in your work.

Should you accept the challenge:
You will be introduced to a team of Flooring professionals, and placed on a 2 or 3 person job to learn the ways of a pro. We take performance and efficiency seriously; you will have goals to hit with your team and we will help you develop your skills. You’ll be expected to contribute to your team with a positive attitude, the drive to push through tough days, and a focus on continually improving your skillset.
You will report to an experienced crew leader, who is backed by a young and driven management team who work very hard to build the best company to work for in our industry. Expect to put in a good amount of effort, but also to be supported and accommodated by the rest of the team. We hire for fit first, meaning your skillset and experience is great, but we want to invest our time in people that think and act the same way we do and contribute to our work environment in a positive way.
This is an introductory role in Flooring and will lead to a rewarding career in the Flooring industry. Promotions tend to happen quickly for the right person.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will include:
Arriving awake, aware, and ready to work. Not ready to catch up on sleep in the passenger seat.
Preparing the truck, tools and materials for the day/week and gaining an understanding from your crew leader of the upcoming work
Contributing each day to complete high-quality work and focusing on beating the budgeted time on each job as a team.
Contributing to our work environment in a positive way, and actively working to improve.
Operating tools safely, and ensuring maintenance is kept up.
Applicants must have/be:
Comfortable with working 5 days a weeks, with the occasional Saturday.
A genuine, trustworthy person that will contribute to our work environment in a positive way. Ask yourself: “Have I had quite a few issues working with others in the past? Would I say it was the other parties fault each time?” If yes, please do not apply.
Driven to grow and learn within the industry and our company.
Experience in the flooring industry or construction.
A vehicle for transportation.
Compensation and Benefits:
Health benefits
$18 – $40 per hour base wage (dependent on experience)

Position Type & Schedule:
Full time. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday.
